Bali Dive Resorts

There are somewhere around 1,000 hotels and resorts on Bali. That makes for plenty of choice, although the bulk of the accommodations are in the popular southern tourist areas, well away from the best diving spots. Of course, some might say that's a good thing! However, there are some resorts, some quite nice ones it seems, near the best dive areas. There seems to be several "dedicated" dive resorts in the Tulamben and Amed area. That and a few other options are listed below. Mimpi Resort Tulamben

The Mimpi Resort Tulamben, Bali is located on Bali's idyllic north-eastern coast, at the foot of Mount Agung. It is the most comfortable place to stay in Tulamben.Mimpi offers 13 Patio Rooms, 12 Deluxe Cottages and 4 Ocean View Cottages, all designed in traditional Balinese style, with air conditioning, private open-air bathrooms, safety deposit boxes and minibars. Located on the tranquil beach of Amed Bunutan, Karangasem, in the Eastern Coast of Bali approximately 115 km or about two and half hours drive from the International Airport. The Hotel is surrounded by natural serenity, tropical gardens and bushes, mountain, rice fields and blue ocean, a relaxed and enjoy romantic atmosphere.

Tauch Terminal Resort

The Tauch Terminal Resort Tulamben is situated at Bali's northeast coast and was built by divers for divers who would like to escape the crowds of mass tourism in South Bali. No McDonald's or Hard Rock Caf&eacut; can be found here, but romantic guitar music accompanied by the sound of the sea. No annoying souvenir sellers, but many friendly and local people who treat you as a friend rather than a tourist.

Mimpi Resort Menjangan
