Togian Islands Diving

The Togian Islands, in the middle of the Gulf of Tomini, seem to be one of those "secret" dive destinations, where the dive sites are pristine and there aren't any other divers around. There seems to be just three dive resorts spread out amongst the 56 islands that make up the archipelago. Of course, one of the reasons the islands are so undeveloped is the relative difficulty getting there. You need to fly to Luwuk in Central Sulawesi from either Manado or Makassar, then travel by car and boat to the islands. The dive resorts will generally make all the transfer arrangements for you.
