Pasir Tani is the wreck of a steel landing craft used by Vietnamese boat people looking for refuge in Malaysia. It sank while being towed to Kuala Besut for repairs. As wrecks go, it's not very impressive, but it has become host to a wide variety of marine life. There are many soft corals such as featherstars and coral trees. You can also see lionfish here in abundance.
Visibility can be a problem here if currents - or other divers - have stirred up the bottom.
