Home Marine Life
This guide to the marine life found in Southeast Asia is based on what I've seen, photographed and been able to categorize from my dives throughout Southeast Asia. It's the last part - the categorization - that's often difficult. There are very few comprehensive guides, on-line or in print, that cover everything you're likely to see in the ocean. That's in part why I started this guide, so that when I saw something unusual or noteworthy, it would be documented for future reference.
Mollusks are a wide ranging family that includes squids, octopus and clams.
Nudibranchs and sea slugs are some of the most colorful, yet overlooked, residents of the reefs.
Sea turtles are turtles that spend almost all of their life in the ocean.
