Dive Sites Around Krabi

Krabi is getting to be quite well known for its spectacular scenery above the water, but there's plenty to be seen below the surface as well. You have three main choices for where to base yourself around Krabi province:

Most of the development on the mainland portion of the province is around Nang Bay (Ao Nang). On the east side of the bay is the curiously spectacular Railay beach area.

About 40 kilometers offshore are the Phi Phi Islands, which are a sports enthusiast's paradise, with rock climbing, snorkeling, and of course scuba diving.

Just off the southern end of the province is Koh Lanta Yai, a less-developed part of the province, with some great diving sites nearby.
