Islands 8 & 9

Just a short distance north of the "middle group" of islands are Islands 8 (Koh Similan) and 9 (Koh Ba-Ngu). Koh Similan is the largest island in the group, and the home of the National Park headquarters. There are also some campgrounds and bungalows for rent on Similan, if you'd rather sleep on dry land. Both islands have several scouted dive sites. The most well known of them are shown on the map below.
